Suzy just began her 10th year with the DHHS. During the last several years
Suzy has facilitated and participated in multiple CQI projects. Her position
requires the use of variety of tools and approaches to Quality Improvement
strives to continuously improve the quality of services provided to the
patients at NHH. Once introduced to Lean culture, Suzy quickly integrated
Lean concepts and processes into the UM department at NHH and encouraged her
entire team to follow suit. Currently they are all Yellow belt certified with
some moving on to Green Belt certification. Suzy is a strong advocate for
bridging the gap between leadership and front line staff to encourage realistic,
sustainable change that allows for all levels of the organization to stand
behind workflow process with integrity and commitment.
